FAQs

Arrival & Check-In

  • Check-in is between 1pm and 8pm. We kindly ask that all campers are pitched up by 9pm at the latest, so everyone can enjoy a quiet evening. If you think you may be late, please let us know as soon as possible. Late arrivals are not guaranteed.

  • We’re unable to offer early check-in, as we need time to prepare the grounds and facilities properly for arriving guests.

  • If you’d like the widest choice of pitches, we recommend arriving as close to 13:00 as possible.

Choosing Your Pitch

  • All pitches are grass (not hardstanding)

  • Approximate size: 10m x 10m

  • Suitable for tents, campervans, motorhomes, roof tents and trailer tents

  • Space for one vehicle per pitch

  • Additional vehicles must be parked in the main car park at the front of Hendre Hall.

  • Pitches are allocated on arrival, on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • While many pitches enjoy lovely views, we cannot guarantee a specific pitch or sea view.

  • If you’re arriving with friends, we’ll always do our best to keep you close together. However, as availability changes daily, we can’t guarantee neighbouring pitches.

The good news is we’re a small site so you’ll never be far apart.

Bookings, Amendments & Cancellations

  • We accept group bookings, please contact us directly to discuss.

  • Booking amendments are possible, subject to availability, and incur a £25 admin fee.

  • Cancellations within 14 days of arrival are not eligible for a refund. Please refer to Pitchup’s Terms & Conditions for full details before booking.

  • We strongly recommend ensuring you are happy with your dates before confirming your stay.
