Barmouth Bridge

Take a walk along a Grade II listed single-track wooden railway viaduct across the estuary of the River Mawddach all the way to Barmouth. Suitable for all abilities.

Fairbourne Railway

The Fairbourne Railway has been running from Fairbourne village to the mouth of the Mawddach Estuary, connecting with the ferry to Barmouth for over 100 years.

Welsh Coastal Path

The Coastal path runs right passed Hendre Hall and is a great way to experience some of the best panoramic views in the UK. Best saved for a good weather day.

The Mawddach Trail

The Mawddach Trail footpath walk and cycle route winds for 9.5 miles (15km) along the disused railway track on the southern edge of the spectacular Mawddach estuary. The route starts a short way from Hendre Hall.
